peachesMark your calendars! Nashville’s trendy Peach Truck is coming back to Louisville for the third year in a row for three dates in July.

For the past three years, Louisvillians have flocked to the truck to pick up half-bushels of delicious Georgia freestone peaches, waiting in long lines and shelling out some big cash (they haven’t announced prices for the season).

The Peach Truck is a staple at Nashville’s farmers markets, and for the past several years they have toured Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana during the early summer. This year they’ve added Pennsylvania.

Owners Stephen and Jessica Rose import Georgia peaches from 130-year-old Pearson Farms in Georgia. If you can’t make the truck stops, the Roses offer home delivery and a subscription service where they will have fresh peaches delivered right to your door.

Insider got our hands on a bushel once, and I can assure you they were the best peaches I’ve ever tasted.
