Beer lovers might soon find themselves in the kiddie aisle. Not because the Snoopy Sno Cone machine makes delicious beer slushies, but because the BBC Taproom on East Main Street is offering $1 pints from noon-6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, when you bring in a new, unwrapped toy to benefit Toys for Tots.

That’s 20 ounces of BBC’s scrumptious beer in all varieties with the exception of barrel-aged beers and specialties — wait for it — for a buck!

BBC Taproom manager Scott Lykins says this is the second year the bar has collected for Toys for Tots, but the first for $1 drafts.

“We thought we’d provide a little extra motivation for people to donate with the $1 beer special,” he says. “Hopefully folks will donate to the drive, enjoy $1 beers and help make Christmas a little better for kids in the area.”

It’ll certainly make my Saturday a little better.
