
The 4th Annual Kentucky Short Film & Video Showcase returns to the rooftop of 21C Museum Hotel‘s parking garage on Tuesday, October 18.
The free event is scheduled to start at 8 p.m., which is good and dark this time of year in Louisville.
The 2011 line-up “exemplifies the wide berth of original work created here in Kentucky,” according to a festival news release.
This year showcase will feature work from Lexington, Frankfort, Louisville, and Whitesburg, according to the release.
Showcase attendees will see everything from animated tales to music videos, from slice of life documentaries to narrative vignettes, plus original experimental treatments.
The artists showcased range from grammar school students to industry professionals, according to the release.
Kentucky showcase filmmakers include: Andrew Lafrate, Richard Maxson, Jr, Scott Stafford, Allen Martin, Todd Sheene, Lexi Bass, Andrew Vititoe, Whitney Beverly, Paula Napier, Andrew Hillman, Dillon Fisher, Evan Sennett, Joan Shelley, Clayton Hable, Jou Jou Papailler, Chris Little, Brennan Clark, Mike Elsherif, Brandon Jones, Brendan Kennedy, JohnBen Lacy, Drew Osborn, Casey Chalmers, Stephen Kertis, Brett Marshall, Eric Stemen, Sole Solution Studios and Branjofarms “along with countless other participants,” according to the release.
