Kentucky Derby-focused content just keeps coming in at what? Seven weeks before the First Saturday in May?
That would include the Mall St. Matthews‘ Derby/spring fashion event, scheduled for noon to 4 p.m. Sat., March 24.
We’re assuming the idea is to get even more people packed into the region’s busiest mall so we can re-accessorize, or whatever one does at Derby time.
Runway shows are scheduled for at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Hair and makeup demonstrations by Regis and Aveda are scheduled for noon.
The shows will include clothing and accessories for men, women and children from Dillard’s, JCPenney, Sam Meyers, White House Black Market, J.Jill, Arden B., Brooks Brothers, and Cache, according to a mall news release.
The event will be held in the Dillard’s wing of the mall at 5000 Shelbyville Rd., according to the release.
