First Ever NuLu Derby Celebration includes late retail, restaurant hours, music and discounts on Sunday, April 29

You already eat there.

You hang out when it’s a Flea Off Market Saturday.

Now, The East Market District, where the motto is “Eat, Play, Shop, Stay,” wants you to make NuLu part of your Kentucky Derby experience.

“The First Ever NuLu Derby Celebration” is scheduled for Sunday, April 29 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

NuLu retailers, restaurants, and businesses will be open extended hours, offering specials and discounts, according to a news release.

Activities throughout the day include live musical performances by Klondike and the Slow Rush, sponsored by Peace of the Earth, and a live fashion show sponsored by Gifthorse.

 Many retailers will be showcasing Derby and equestrian-themed fashions and products for this event. It’s the perfect time to complete your Derby-day look and pick up your party essentials! Participating businesses for this Derby event include Peace of the Earth, Barry Wooley Designs, Cake Flour, Rellek, Hudson Home, Garage Bar, Red Tree, Gifthorse, Muth’s Candies, Revolver, Flo, Bluegrass Green Co., Scout, Encuentros, Marti Kuen Gallery, City Concierge, Garner Narrative Gallery, Ghyslain, Swanson Gallery, Bay’s Boutique, and more.
