Taco Punk expands service lines to include catered events and gift cards

Taco Punk (736 E. Market Street), NuLu’s fairly new and really tasty taqueria, is adding four new services to address small and large party needs:

Party on Wheels is the perfect way to feed a small group of six to eight people on the hoof. The customer chooses all veggie and meat fillings in addition to salsa fresca, beans and rice, tortillas and toppings.

Large Party Catering is designed for groups of 20 or more and include set-up anywhere in downtown Louisville. Orders must be placed a minimum of 48 hours in advance.

Fundraising Dinners can be hosted at the restaurant on Monday and Tuesday evenings when Taco Punk offers non-profit organizations the opportunity to earn 15 percent of one of those evening’s food sales.

After the application process, an approved organization will be assigned a date and if more than 50 from that group dine, the organization will receive 15 pecent of the entire night’s food sales. (Only groups who can guarantee 50 or more diners will be approved.) Applications can be found at Tacopunk.com

Bulk Gift Card Purchases can be used just for fun or for gift cards and incentives or rewards. We will discount 15 percent on bulk gift card purchases above $250. Please contact Taco Punk management in advance for this service.

Taco Punk is the brainchild of Gabe Sowder, former chef de cuisine at 610 Magnolia. The food values reflect Sowder’s food philosophy, honed over 15 years in restaurants and an ongoing commitment to the Slow Food movement.

Complete menu offerings are available at TacoPunk.com or visit the Taco Punk Facebook page.
