Bristol Bar and Grille hosting Argentina Wine and Food Experience in June
Beginning on June 1 and continuing throughout the month, The Bristol Bar and Grille will celebrate the cuisine and wine of Argentina with menu features and tasting events featuring Argentine wine experts.
According to a news release, the Jeffersonville Bristol Bar and Grille (700 W. Riverside Drive) will feature a special menu of Argentine food prepared by chef Richard Doering and an Argentine wine list selected by Master Sommelier Scott Harper, who recently traveled to Argentina to explore the country’s wine and food. The special Argentine wines are available by the glass, bottle, and in flights.
Additionally, The Bristol will offer two wine events during June: a seminar ($25 per person) at the downtown Louisville location (614 W. Main St.) with Nora Favelukes, director of Wines of Argentina on June 12 from 6:30-7:45 p.m.
Director of Wines of Argentina Nora Favelukes will lead a tasting and presentation of six Argentine wines including but not limited to Malbec. Following the seminar, stay to enjoy Argentine food specials with wines available by the bottle, glass and in flights (not included in seminar price). The second will include a visit from Argentinean wine maker Bob Pepi of Bodega Valentin Bianchi on June 19 from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Jeffersonville location.
His wines will be available by the glass, by the bottle, and in an Argentine white and red flight featuring a two-ounce portion of four wines for only $8.
