by Staff

You go to the farmers’ markets for the finest produce and veggies.

But today, the Phoenix Hill NuLu Farmers’ Market is throwing in live music and fun stuff for kids to celebrate its move to the NuLu/East Market area.

The Phoenix Hill NuLu Farmers’ Market is celebrating its new location  at 1007 E. Jefferson St. (corner of Jefferson and Baxter, behind Fresh Start Growers’ Supply) from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Here’s the list of vendors for today at one of Louisville’s rare weekday urban farmers’ markets:

Argyll Acres

Barr Farm

Finger Pickin’ Farm

Full Heart Farm

Groce Family Farm

Misty Meadow Farm

Mt. Eden Greenhouse

Weisenberger Mill Flour and Mixes

And there will be a few special guest farmers this week, according to a news release.

Music will be by folk duo Down to Earth.

Food trucks will include Tio Miguel’s Tacos and Maria Bell’s Greek Food, and there will be games for the kids.

The Phoenix Hill Farmers market is a Kentucky Proud event.
