Theater Square Marketplace rolls out summer menu

Theater Square Marketplace executive chef Dallas McGarity has rolled out a new summer menu that’s ready for sampling.

While the restaurant works to get the entire menu updated on its website, McGarity sent us some of the new dishes. Among them:

Appetizers:

  • Semolina fried oysters ($12) with greens and bacon, lemon-caper aioli
  • Tomato and mozzarella risotto fritters ($9) with pesto aioli and Parmesan
  • Fried green tomatoes ($9) with greens and bacon, tzatziki and olive tapenade
  • BBQ pulled pork crostini ($8.50) with red slaw
  • Toasted ciabatta bruschetta ($8.50) with roasted eggplant, roasted red peppers, feta, pesto and balsamic

Summer salads:

  • “Greek” bibb salad ($8), Grateful Greens bibb lettuce, tomatoes, feta, kalamata olives, cucumber, toasted pine nuts, Greek vinaigrette
  • “Caprese” ($8.50), tomatoes, mozzarella, pesto, balsamic

Entrees:

  • Housemade and hand rolled semolina pasta ($19) with roasted grape tomatoes and zucchini,  greens, pomodoro sauce
  • “Center cut” rib-eye ($29) Yukon gold potatoes, greens and bacon, caramelized onions, gorgonzola, honey-chipotle sauce
  • Duck confit “Bolognese” ($23.50) with semolina pasta, greens and bacon, pomodoro sauce
  • “Bacon” cheddar burger ($15) crispy pork belly, white cheddar, fried green tomato, Breadworks bun, house-made pickles and truffle fries
