Harvest hosting BBC beer dinner on August 7
Like beer with your food?
What about really good beer with really good food?
At the really good price of $45 (tax and tip not included) for four courses?
You can get that on August 7 when Harvest and Bluegrass Brewing Co. partner on a beer dinner with seasonal foods prepared by chef Coby Ming.
Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. For reservations, call 502-384-9090.
On the menu:
First course: grilled and chilled tomato soup, basil pickled cucumber and onions, tomato chips, pretzel crostini and garlic oil, paired with BBC Pale Ale
Second course: chopped salad with grilled summer squash, peas, fava, grilled Yukon gold potatoes, smoked deviled egg, baby greens and grilled onion vinaigrette, paired with BBC Nut Brown
Third course: choice of smoky pork confit with jalepeno-Norwood biscuit, sorghum-porter bbq sauce, beet-pickled butternut slaw and crispy onions—or grilled eggplant and zucchini roulade with tomato fondue, jalepeno-Norwood biscuit, beet-pickled butternut slaw and crispy onions, paired with BBC Porter
Fourth course: peach 5-way made from peach granola, grilled peach, peach-basil ice cream, pickled peach and peach powder, paired with BBC Saison
