Massage Envy franchisees Terry Paradise and Marcia Connelley win SCORE Outstanding Small Biz Franchise national award

Two Louisvillians have won a gold medal in what’s sort of the small business Olympics.

Terry Paradise and Marci Connelley, owners of the Middletown, Ky. Massage Envy will be recognized as outstanding small business franchisees at the 4th annual SCORE Awards for entrepreneurial excellence.

The SCORE Awards gala will be held August 16 in New Orleans, LA.

SCORE, for those IL readers who’ve never started a business, is the Senior Corps of Retired Executives, a federal service organization that pairs those with years of experience with those just starting out on their own.

The Louisville franchise of Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Massage Envy is one of eight companies recognized nationally.

The 10-year-old parent company pioneered the concept of affordable massage and spa services and now has more than 700 outlets across the United States.

The SCORE awards will be presented at the Hilton Riverside in New Orleans, according to a SCORE news release.
