St. Charles Exchange hosting Four Roses Bourbon dinner Aug. 22

St. Charles Exchange will host a Four Roses Bourbon Dinner on Wednesday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m.

According to a news release, Al Young, brand ambassador for Four Roses, will conduct bourbon tastings during the four-course meal. The menu will feature:

• First course: Confit Pork Belly, bourbon spiced apples, Weisenberger goat cheese grits, bbq jus, paired with Four roses yellow label, lemon juice, grapefruit juice, Campari, orange & celery bitters
• Second course: Seared Yellowfin Tuna, spicy mustard, sesame farro ‘risotto’, baby carrots, miso reduction and paired with Four Roses Small Batch, Aperol, Cocchi Torino, Angostura bitters
• Third course: Bourbon Barrel Smoked Petite Filet, foie gras butter, parsnip puree, spinach, espresso veal demi and paired with Four Roses Single Barrel, Cynar, Benedictine
• Fourth course: Orange Fennel Cake, raspberry mint ice cream, vanilla tuille, cantaloupe coulis, and paried with Four Roses Yellow label, Grand Marnier, Ginger syrup, Peychaud’s bitters, egg white, beer, Angostura bitters
