Shake this, ladies!
The Bourbon Women Association is launching its inaugural “Not Your Pink Drink” contest designed to encourage professional bartenders and amateur drink makers to create a cocktail reflecting the group’s sassy spirit.
According to a news release, the winning drinks in each category will become the organization’s signature sipper.
Entries must include bourbon and at least two other ingredients–but the resulting drink can’t be pink! Deadline for submissions is Sept. 1.
Winners in each division, professional and amateur, will be announced at the Kentucky Bourbon Festival in Bardstown in September and will be declared the official cocktails of the Bourbon Women Association for one year.
