Louisville Jazz Society: Tyler Park Sunday Jazz Series starts tomorrow with Jamey Aebersold

(Editor’s note: This post is courtesy of Larry Cooper at the Louisville Jazz Society.)

This year the Tyler Park free concert series is expanding to the four remaining Sundays in September, starting with Jamey Aebersold’s group this weekend.

Other shows in the series feature Walker & Kays, a Brazilian group led by Mike Tracy and the U of L Student Big Band. If the weather’s good, bring your lawn chair down to the park near Baxter and Eastern for a fun afternoon.

Then Monday evening there’s an album recording party for a group led by the Australian bassman Luke McIntosh at the Rudyard Kipling. Free admission.
Lots of other jazz all around town.
