The Blind Pig hosting Felsina Wine dinner Sept. 24
The Blind Pig will welcome Andrea Bonivento, commercial director at Felsina Wines in Tuscany, Italy, to Louisville for a four-course wine dinner Monday, Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m. The meal costs $65 per person, plus tax and gratuity. To make reservations, call 502-618-0600.
On the menu:
- First course: carpaccio, arugula, shaved Parmigiano-Reggiano, Dijon, truffle vinaigrette, paired with Felsina “Isistri” Chardonnay 2009
- Second course: seared yellowfin tuna, pork crackling and black pepper caramel, paired with Farnetella Chianti Colli Sinesi
- Third course: Pork Milanese with heirloom tomato topping and Parmesan-Pecorino orzo, paired with Felsina Chianti Classico
- Fourth course: buttermilk blue cheese, pear-vanilla aigre-doux and roasted hazelnuts paired with Felsina Vin Santo, 2003.
