Foxhollow Farm will host its fifth-annual Fall Festival, a fun-filled celebration of autumn that has become a favorite for families throughout the Kentuckiana area. The event takes place Saturday, Oct. 13, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
According to a news release, this year’s event includes a variety of entertainment and culinary delights for the whole family to enjoy. The predicted sunny weather will be perfect for enjoying live Bluegrass music, a pick-your-own-pumpkin patch, hay castles, old-fashioned carnival games, a cakewalk, hay and horse rides, face painting, mural painting, silk dying plus farm-fresh foods galore.
Food will be prepared and provided Wiltshire Pantry, Rye, Grind Food Truck and Gilberto Gelato. Activities such as and more will be available for purchase at the festival.
The event is sponsored by PNC Bank and Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP. Net proceeds from the festival will benefit Maryhurst, a local non-profit organization that cares for abused and neglected children, and Foxhollow Farm’s Education Outreach programs. The 2011 event raised more than $19,000 for those organizations.
