Friday (10/19) DisTRUCKtion at Apocalypse Brew Works - Evening filled with food trucks, beer and awesome tunes at Apocalypse Brew Works from 5 – 10 pm. Trucks attending include Lil Cheezers, Holy Mole, Grind, Bluegrass Brick Oven Pizza, French Indo-Canada and Annie May’s Sweet Cafe. Saturday (10/20) Mayor’s Fall Hike and Outdoor Adventure - Perfect excuse to get some exercise and check out the fall foliage at Jefferson Memorial Forest. Enjoy family-friendly activities from 9 am – 2 pm, including a 5 k race, forest hike, pumpkins and pumpkin decorating and hay rides.
Saturday (10/20) First Friday Trolley Hop Lip Dub - What’s a Lip Dub? Flash mob, lip sync and music video all rolled into one, check out Grand Rapids Lip Dub. Video shooting starts at noon at Whiskey Row and will finish a few hours later in the NULU district. Want to participate? Be on the streets singing, dancing, or doing whatever other crazy creative thing you can think up.
Saturday (10/20) Twilight Tour of Cave Hill Cemetery - With the exception of guided tours, Cave Hill Cemetery shuts its gate at dusk. Here’s your chance to see it in a whole new light (or lack there of). Hop on a tram and explore with grounds with guide Steve Wiser. The tour is historically focused, but we’re betting it might be a little creepy too. Perfect to get you in the Halloween mood.
Sunday (10/21) Fright Light Halloween Parties - family friendly event with Halloween-themed games and Fright Light Laser Music Show at University of Louisville Gheens Science Hall and Rauch Planetarium from from 3-6 pm. Admission is $5 per person.
