Two days of food trucks, beer, and Halloween fun in Iroquois Park

Maybe you didn’t get enough of food trucks last weekend with the TacoPacolypse or the Food Truck DisTRUCKtion. Or maybe the lousy weather kept you away.

But this weekend in Iroquois Park, there’s a two-day event that will make up for what you missed or help you maintain the weekend food coma a couple days longer.

TruckTober Fest spans Friday evening through Saturday night and promises fun for the whole family. Both days feature food trucks and beer. Friday offers a costume contest and safe trick-or-treating for the kiddos. Saturday features a battle of the bands for the older kiddos.

The final lineup for TruckTober Fest’s battle of the bands:

  • Emily Coleman
  • The Blue Gypsy Souls
  • Tree Meets Sky
  • Attac of the Pacifest
  • Tiffany Tucker Band
  • Luie Brangers
  • Lost in Eden
  • Lame
  • Ted Striker
  • Tri Tones
The event runs from 5 p.m until 11 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free.

Friday’s food trucks include: Get It On A Bun at Booty’s Diner, Genius in a Box, Louisville Dessert Truck, Moe-licious, Black Rock Grille, One Hot Tamale and Gryos Express.

Saturday’s food trucks include: Get It On A Bun at Booty’s Diner, Genius in a Box, Louisville Dessert Truck, Moe-licious, One Hot Tamale, Gyros Express, Traveling Kitchen and Holy Mole.
