What’s the creepiest movie ever?
“Halloween”?
“Texas Chainsaw Massacre”?
Nah …
It’s Stanley Kubrick’s “The Shining,” with an insanely perfect performance by a young Jack Nicholson.
Wednesday, Decca Restaurant and Lounge in NuLu will present – if you dare – “The Shining” at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on the big screen in the cellar Lounge, part their weekly lineup of events.
Those events include their BooLu Halloween costume party, scheduled to start at 9 p.m. on Halloween night.
The party will feature DJ Sam Sneed, as well as a $100 Decca gift card as a grand prize for the best costume, according to a news release.
The party is open to the public; admission is two cans of food for Kentucky Harvest.
The first Friday of November falls on Nov. 2 , which is the First Friday Trolley Hop in NuLu.
Decca will have concert by local jazz funk ensemble Fatt Labb.
The concert is free, and will begin at 8 p.m.
Decca is at 812 E. Market St. in NuLu.
