All-natural bakery Cake Flour will shut its doors, owner Claudia De Latorre via email.
“It is truly amazing that Cake Flour has been a part of so many people’s memories, their photo collections, their family traditions,” she said. “So it is bittersweet that I am announcing that I will be closing the current location of Cake Flour at the end of the month. I am making the decision to spend more time with my family; we are excited that we will have more time together.”
Cake Flour will shutter its storefront, located at 2420 Lime Kiln Lane, on Dec. 23. However, De Latorre said she would take select custom orders after the New Year.
For those who want to stop in for a treat before the bakery closes, its hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
Cake Flour is an all-natural bakery that uses no artificial sweeteners, colors, flavorings or hydrogenated oils. The bakery moved into its current location in 2014.
