As Insider reported last week, the highly anticipated opening date for Doc’s Cantina — a sister restaurant to Doc Crow’s opening in the space near Big Four Bridge formerly occupied by Tumbleweed — has been pushed back to February/March, but the delay will give Falls City Hospitality Group (FCHG) some time to fill more than 100 jobs.
Two job fairs have been scheduled to attract competent employees interested in working at the new Mexican-themed restaurant. First up is Saturday, Jan. 9, from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., and the next is Tuesday, Jan. 12, from 3-7 p.m. Those interested in any position — from sous chef to servers to bartenders to hosts — should bring a résumé during one of those times to Doc Crow’s, 127 W. Main St. And those who can’t attend can email résumés to [email protected].
“We take pride in investing in our employees,” said FCHG partner Brett Davis in a press release. “In a city with a food scene growing at a rapid pace, it can be hard to find qualified applicants. We’re willing to hire eager and motivated people with no experience to train and bring into the FCHG family. They will not only receive benefits but the opportunity to grow with our company, scheduled to open three restaurants this year.”
Doc’s Cantina is slated to open in mid February at the 10,000-square-foot space off of River Road.
