Once a year, Greater Louisville Inc’s EnterpriseCorp hosts their “Signature Event.”

Lest the name not tip you off, the Signature Event is EnterpriseCorp’s major event of the year. This year has perhaps even a bit more gravitas, as it marks the first EnterpriseCorp event since Bobby Fererri stepped down as Executive Director and Tendai Charasika took the reins.

At the June 18 event, Charasika will deliver what is essentially the “state of Louisville entrepreneurship” address, recapping the past year’s achievements and pitfalls and projecting how the community will fare over the next year.

In addition to Charasika’s speech, the event will also feature a panel discussion about regional entrepreneurship featuring:

As we reported two weeks ago, the keynote speaker for the evening will be Ben Yoskovitz, who will discuss his new book “Lean Analytics: Use Data to Build a Better Startup Faster.” Yoskovitz was the CEO and co-founder of Standout Jobs, which he sold in 2010. Currently, he’s the vice president of product at GoInstant, which was recently acquired by Salesforce.com.

He’s also a Founding Partner at Year One Labs, an accelerator in Montreal, and is the author of the Instigator blog.

The first 100 people to register for EnterpriseCorp’s Signature Event receive a copy of Yoskovitz’s book for free.

Registration is required and is $25 online (a bargain, if you get in on the free book deal– the book lists for $29.99). The event is from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts at 501 West Main Street.
