The annual Saint Matthews Station Holiday Walk invites everyone out for a good cause this evening. The dozen or so businesses that make up the retail and restaurant row in St. Matthews are hosting the event to benefit Wayside Christian Mission.

From 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, if you bring new scarves, gloves or canned goods, you’ll get to enter your name in several drawings for prizes. There also will be free food and drinks.

Participating businesses include Molly Malone’s, The Shirt Shop, Ta Dah! Organic Airbrush Tanning, Volos Salon, Platinum Salon, Saints, Louisville Geek, Sara’s Oriental Rugs and many more.

Wayside Christian Mission operates shelters for homeless men, women and families, in addition to offering a variety of other services to assist those in need.
