downtown louisville skylineGreater Louisville Inc. is hosting Business at Breakfast on Tuesday, June 28, when a panel of local business leaders and mentors will discuss corporate engagement in innovation and entrepreneurship. The chamber of commerce event is sponsored by the law firm Stoll Keenon Ogden.

The panelists include:

Phoebe Wood is a retired CFO of Brown-Foreman and board member of Coca-Cola, Invesco, Ltd., Pioneer Natural Resources Company, and Leggett & Platt Inc. Wood is also a principal at CompaniesWood, an investing firm that consults with early-stage businesses.

Kenneth Sagan is co-chair of Stoll Keenon Ogden’s business services practice that works with business and corporate clients.

David Jones, Jr. is founder of Chrysalis Venture Capital, on the board of directors of Humana, and chairman of the Jefferson County School Board.

• Ed Glasscock is a business lawyer at Frost Brown Todd, and chairman-emeritus and co-chairman of the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice.

According to the news release, “Our panelists summited the corporate ladder, then decided to help build the next generation of innovators through their work as mentors and investors. Hear their stories of meeting, working with and investing in Greater Louisville’s entrepreneurial community.”

The event will be held at Butchertown Pointe, 1205 Washington Street. It begins at 7:30 a.m. with networking. Tickets are $35. Register here.
