Just six months ago, Endeavor named Louisville its third U.S. city to launch an affiliate. The program focuses on high-impact entrepreneurs around the world and provides them with a global mentoring network.
Now Endeavor Louisville has announced the first entrepreneur from Louisville has been selected by the international panel to join the next class of Endeavor Entrepreneurs.
Joey Rivera, founder of Rivera Group, traveled to Marrakech, Morocco, from Oct. 5-7 to present to Endeavor’s International Selection Panel. His company was one of 24 selected after days of rigorous interviews and presentations. To be chosen, the vote must be unanimous.
The program is focused on scale-ups and high-impact entrepreneurs. The typical entrepreneur who is invited to participate in Endeavor averages $2.5 million in revenue, has 40 employees and has been in business for four years. More importantly, that entrepreneur must show a desire to give back to the community.
Endeavor Entrepreneurs are granted an advisory board, mentorship, access to talent, access to markets, as well as access to investors. This is done not only through Endeavor Louisville but through the international Endeavor Network.
Rivera Group provides real-time detection and surveillance of cyber threats with its Eagle 6 product, which “maps connectivities between and among an enterprise’s software architecture giving the user an ‘eagle-eye’ view of their enterprise.”
“The entire Endeavor Board is proud of Dr. Rivera and his remarkable enterprise, which we believe has the potential, under his inspirational leadership, to continue its rapid growth and add lots of high quality jobs in our area,” said Endeavor Louisville chairman David Jones Sr.
Rivera Group has three offices: Louisville, Sellersburg, Ind., and Springfield, Va.
