opencoffeeThis Monday, Jan. 25, we will be joined by J.C. Spalding, vice president of Vac2Go. Vac2Go is a vacuum truck rental company that caters to the energy, utility, pulp and paper, steel, automotive and chemical manufacturing industries.

Started in 2012, Vac2go has grown quickly from one location, five trucks and no customers to three locations and a fleet of 40 trucks and 50+ customers in 30 states. The company has diversified its product offerings to include high-pressure water pumps and launched an e-commerce platform to sell accessories such as hoses, fittings and other job-specific items.

Vac2Go recently was nominated for Small Business of the Year by Louisville Business First. Spalding will talk about the growing pains, successes and failures of a new company and his experiences stepping into the unknown and traveling up the learning curve.

If you haven’t had the chance yet, we would also greatly appreciate your feedback on Open Coffee in 2015 by taking this survey.

Please join us Monday, Jan. 25, at 8 a.m. at iHub for the 150th Open Coffee. Thanks as always to Heine Bros. for the coffee, and to Nucleus for letting us use their iHub facility.
