open coffeeWe have a lot going on at Open Coffee on Monday, March 9.

We’ll start off with a quick recap of StartUp Weekend and may even be joined by some of the participants. We’ll then welcome Dr. Kevin Gue from the University of Louisville to speak to the group about logistics research at U of L.

Gue is a professor of industrial engineering at the J.B. Speed School of Engineering, director of the Logistics and Distribution Institute (LoDI) and holds the Mary Lee and George F. Duthie Endowed Chair of Engineering Logistics.

The mission of the LoDI is to develop new models, technologies and decision support systems that will help the private and public sectors cope with changes taking place in the logistics and distribution industry. Gue plans to bring us up to speed on the recent developments at the center and is looking forward to answering questions.

Join us this Monday, March 9, at 8 a.m. at iHub for Open Coffee. Thanks as always to Heine Bros. for the coffee and to Nucleus for letting us use their iHub facility.
