The Leadership Louisville’s 2017 Bingham Fellows were announced Thursday. There are 42 community leaders who will meet with topic experts, learn from other cities’ best practices and work together to create positive change on the theme “Winning the Talent of the Future” throughout the program year.

Talent acquisition in business has been a major focus of organizations like Louisville Forward and GLI. With the decline in manufacturing jobs and the rise of automation, Louisville has fallen behind peer cities in attracting new talent, particularly millennials, and training existing residents with the skills needed to fill the jobs of today, Leadership Louisville said in a news release.
