Brand or be branded: A compelling employment brand in Louisville will help attract and retain the talent needed for success
An organization’s talent is an undeniably critical part of its success. That’s why it’s imperative to understand the behavior and priorities of job seekers so we can develop strategies to attract the best and the brightest. Insider Louisville wants Louisville to be a great city, and we know that great cities are built by great people. We want Louisville’s talented workers to stay and prosper here, and we want talented people from all over the world to come here to work and build their lives.
In August 2015, Insider Louisville conducted an employment survey that canvassed more than 400 people who are employed in Louisville and Southern Indiana. The survey was conducted in order to give community leaders, recruiters, executives, and business owners insight into how job seekers behave, how they approach the job search, and what is important to them in a job and a company.
What we have discovered is that there is a paradigm shift in talent acquisition, a change due to economic recovery, a generational shift in the workforce, and the way people communicate.
