Louisvillians jonesing for some more Ben Sollee in their lives have a rare opportunity on Tuesday, Jan. 17, as the cellist, composer and storyteller plays an intimate concert at Actors Theatre of Louisville. Also noteworthy about the show is the minimal ticket fee of $10 in advance, or a pay-what-you-wish contribution at the door.

Actors has had some fun promoting the show, offering up a series of videos called “Book It” by twins Trisha and Trevor Turk — members of Actors’ Professional Training Company — as they search for the perfect opening act for Sollee. There are three comedic episodes online now, with a fourth coming soon and hopefully revealing the surprise guest act.

The show begins at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17, and doors open at the Victor Jory Theatre at 9. The benefit of securing your ticket early is knowing you’ll have a seat. There is no guarantee seats will be available at showtime.

Check out Episode 1 of “Book It” below.
