More than 4,000 Louisvillians made the short trek to Foxhollow Farm last summer for the myriad of events held at Crestwood’s biodynamic farm.

One of the most popular get-togethers is the Sunset Concert Series, held the second Friday of each month from June to September.

On Friday, June 10, the third annual series kicks off with Louisville musician Brigid Kaelin, as well as The Birdies, a throwback 1940s-inspired swing dance trio that features Kaelin, Laura Ellis and Susan Crocker. Kaelin plays bluegrass-tinged pop songs via piano, guitar, accordion and even ukulele.

And along with the live music, there will be a handful of food trucks preparing farm-fresh fare.

The concerts are rain or shine and run from 6-9 p.m. You’re encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and even your dogs (on a leash). Tickets are $12 ($10 in advance), and children under 12 are free. Foxhollow Farm is located 15 miles north of Louisville in Crestwood, off of I-71.

The rest of the Sunset Concert Series is below.

  • Friday, July 8 — The Moonlight Peddlers and The Hart Strings
  • Friday, Aug. 12 — “Midnight Vultures: The Music of Beck” featuring Cheyenne Mize and Curio Key Club
  • Friday, Sept. 9 — Laurie Jane & The 45’s and Soul River Brown & The Foundation Band
