Comedian, actor and Louisville native Keith McGill will headline the annual Gilda’s Night of a Thousand Laughs benefit show on Saturday, May 21. The event is hosted by Gilda’s Club Louisville and will be held at the Kentucky Center’s Bomhard Theater.
McGill appears frequently on “The Bob and Tom Show” as well as BET, CMT, “Laughs on FOX” and more.
The evening features a slew of comedians, local celebrities and business folks who may or may not embarrass themselves on stage — all for a good cause, of course. Gilda’s Club creates a support system for men, women, children and families who are affected by cancer.
Participating in this year’s lineup, along with McGill, are comedian Mack Dryden, real estate mogul Andy Blieden, CEO Orn Gudmundsson Jr., Louisville Urban League president Sadiqu Reynolds, and financial advisor Chris Robert.
All proceeds from ticket sales benefit Gilda’s Club, and there are three tiers depending on how you want to spend your evening. For $43, you get a ticket for the show only. For $78, you get a ticket to the show and an after party. And for $153, you get dinner, a meet-and-greet with the entertainers, cocktails, a ticket to the show and after party, too.
