A look at last year’s Taste of Louisville.

For 41 years, the Kentucky Restaurant Association (KRA) has spotlighted the best of Louisville’s restaurant scene at their annual event, Taste of Louisville. This year’s Taste on Wednesday, Oct. 7, is no different, offering nearly 50 restaurant, winery, distillery and brewery vendors all in the name of charity.

tasteSince its inception in 1973, the event has raised more than $250,000 for local charities, and this year proceeds benefit Seven Counties Services and the Salvation Army.

The list of participating vendors is a who’s who of the Louisville foodie scene, including The Silver Dollar, Napa River Grill, Manny & Merle, Havana Rumba, Old 502 Winery, Bulleit Bourbon, BBC, 8UP, Craft House, Jack Fry’s and many, many more. The offerings will be voted on to crown the very best in three categories: Savory, Sweet and Swig.

The 42 annual Taste of Louisville will be held Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 6 p.m. at Bowman Field’s Louisville Executive Aviation venue. Tickets are $50 in advance or $55 at the door.
