What better signifies the arrival of spring in Louisville than barbecue, bourbon and rubbing elbows with important bourbon barons? While you’re downtown Friday for the First Friday Trolley Hop, be sure to stop in at the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience for their “Bourbon, BBQ & Bottle Signings” event from 5-9 p.m.

Not only will there be free tours of the artisanal distillery and visitor’s center, but attendees will get bourbon tastings, barbecue-themed appetizers and meet-and-greets with Evan Williams Bourbon Experience’s Artisanal Distiller Charlie Downs, Heaven Hill Master Distiller Denny Potter and bourbon historian Michael Veach, author of “Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey.”

Guests also will have access to the secret speakeasy bar in the basement, and there will be a plethora of door prizes.

“Bourbon, BBQ & Bottle Signings” is free and open to the public on Friday, April 3, from 5-9 p.m. The Evan Williams Bourbon Experience is located at 528 W. Main St.
