You had me at tacos. But ice cream, too?

On Tuesday, May 6, the Global Global Game Changers Children’s Education Initiative Inc. and the Kentucky YMCA Youth Association will celebrate Give Local Louisville with a tacos and ice cream get-together. From 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at 201 E. Main St., you can purchase tacos from Holy Mole and ice cream from Graeter’s, with 10 percent of proceeds going to the aforementioned nonprofits.

Mmm, tacos.

Also, while you’re enjoying your tacos and ice cream lunch,  you can interact with the staffs of both organization and learn more about their missions to serve the youth of Kentucky.

Give Local Louisville, sponsored by the Community Foundation of Louisville, is a one-day event that enables local nonprofits to take advantage of stretch funding. The Global Game Changers Children’s Education Initiative is dedicated to sharing an educational curriculum that helps children find their “inner superpower” to make the world a better place.

The Kentucky YMCA Youth Association’s mission is to develop engaged citizens and servant leaders, inspired to affect change.
