Ready to use up a few of your 15 minutes of fame? If so, Esquire Network seeks friendly faces for a segment of “Best Bars in America,” filming here this week at three different bars. All you have to do is show up and drink.

“Best Bars” follows comedians Jay Larson and Sean Patton as they explore bars featured in Esquire magazine’s annual best-in-the-nation list. Previous cities featured include San Francisco, Chicago and Milwaukee, and this week they’ll be right here.

Producer Marc Nardoni sent out a call for “extras,” so to speak, to help fill up the bars for filming.

“Esquire TV Network will be shooting in Louisville this week for the show ‘Best Bars in America,’ and we (need) people who love drinking in Louisville to come out and support their favorite bars,” the request said.

The only requirement? Be ready to drink and have a good time.

Several bars are on the list, but there are three for which the producers specifically need more people:

How often do you have an excuse to drink during the daytime in the middle of the week (as if you needed an excuse)? Please note that you won’t be paid for attending the shoot. We’re guessing you’re paying your own bar tab as well.

(UPDATE: The grapevine tells us that they’ll be at the Haymarket Whiskey Bar Tuesday at 9 p.m.)
