EXBEERIMENT2014Explore the science of brewing while sampling plenty of local beer this Thursday, Oct. 2, at the Kentucky Science Center. ExBEERiment 2014, the third annual event, is part of the museum’s Adult Series.

The event covers three floors of the museum, with beer samples on each floor, as well as brewing and beer-related demonstrations, food trucks and more. There also will be retro beer commercials showing in the museum’s four-story Digital Theater.

And for non-beer drinkers, there will even be wine samples from Old 502 Winery.

Admission is $15 for museum members and $20 for non-members; discounted tickets are available for designated drivers. In addition, if you hang onto your exBEERiment ticket stub and present it at the gate of LIBA’s Brewfest on Oct. 17, you’ll get in free of charge.

Also, if you download the Lyft app, you’ll get a free ride up to $25 to or from exBEERiment (new users only). If two or more new users ride together, you can get a free ride (up to $25 each way) there and back.
