We know it’s very early notice for this summer film series, but if you cared enough to click the link, you probably care enough to put this on your calendar. Maybe gather a crew of friends to go to the series. Maybe put together a costume. (Not everyone can go as Hermione, y’all.)
That’s right, the Kentucky Science Center is showing the entire Harry Potter series of movies in its ginormous digital theater starting in June with “The Sorcerer’s Stone” and ending in September with “Deathly Hallows Part 2.”
Unfortunately for us Potterheads, there will be no marathon of the series (and yes, we realize that would take upwards of 20 hours). But spreading the movies out gives you the entire summer to steel yourself for that punishing death scene for (redacted) in “Hallows 2.” (And no, we’re not talking Dumbledore.)
It will be fun to watch wee young Daniel Radcliffe grow into a handsome young man over the course of one summer.
No word on whether or not the concession stand will feature Bertie Botts Every Flavoured Beans, Chocolate Frogs or Butter Beer.
Tickets are $10 per person (no child discount). Showtimes and ticketing are now online.
