For one night a year, Taste of Louisville gives attendees the opportunity to try food from restaurants across the city — a task that could take months otherwise.

This year, Taste of Louisville is being held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at Louisville Executive Aviation at Bowman Field, 2700 Gast Blvd. The event is organized the Louisville chapter of the Kentucky Restaurant Association.

Tickets are $65 per person or $750 for a table of eight. Those who download The Taste of Louisville mobile application will receive a $10 discount.

The mobile application also allows attendees to vote for the restaurant with the best sweet, best savory dish and the best drink, or swig.

The event is expected to draw more than 800 attendees and will benefit the local Kentucky Restaurant Association chapter, Home of the Innocents and Jill’s Wish.
