The United States Women’s National Team said au revoir to the French Women’s National Team Friday with a 2-1 win in the quarterfinal of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, and Louisville fans were on hand at Saints Pizza Pub and Skybar to watch the win at the Louisville American Outlaws watch party.

The U.S. was able to eliminate the host nation from the competition in the French capital of Paris at the Parc des Princes.

Megan Rapinoe starred for the U.S., scoring two goals for the second consecutive match. She now has five goals in this World Cup.

The U.S. led 2-0 after her two goals, and nearly went up a third on a goal by Tobin Heath before it was ruled offside.

France managed to make the game close late with a Wendie Renard goal in the 81st minute. The U.S. defense held the rest of the way to secure the victory.

With the win, the U.S. will advance to the World Cup semifinal, where it will play England for a shot at the Women’s World Cup Final. The United States has not lost or drawn yet in the World Cup.

Fans filled up Saints Pizza and Pub to watch the win. Check out photos from the watch party below, as well as tweets and videos of the celebrations during the match and afterward. The Louisville American Outlaws will host another watch party at Saints Pizza and Pub for the semifinal match against England at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
