“The Dark Market” will be held Sunday, June 12.

The freaks may come out at night, but now, the artists do, too. The first-ever “The Dark Market,” a curated nighttime oddities and art market, will haunt Haymarket Whiskey Bar on Sunday, June 12, from 6-11 p.m.

Organized by Cathe Crabb, who owns Unorthodox, a shop and gallery that dabbles in odd collectibles, thought it would be fun to gather some local artists and “oddities/weird stuff vendors” and have an art show at night. She was able to get more than 15 artists and vendors on board, including Jeral and Sarah Tidwell, Jada Lynn Dixon, Ryan Case, Angryblue, “Dead Things” by Sarah Moeding, and many more.

To help create a fun, festive atmosphere, DJ Savvy Dee will spin tunes that night as well.

“The Dark Market” is free and for ages 21 and up. Haymarket Whiskey Bar is located at 331 E. Market St.
