Foxhollow Farm has been operating on 1,300 acres in Crestwood, Ky., for more than 65 years. And since 2006, the family has been using organic and biodynamic methods for growing crops and raising 100 percent grass-fed cattle.
Each summer, Foxhollow sets up a stage and invites the public out for a relaxing night under the stars with live music, food trucks, dancing, drinks — and even dogs are welcome. The fifth annual Sunset Concert Series starts Friday with music by Roanoke and Alanna Fugate & The Boxwine Prophets.
Last year, more than 4,000 people attended the series.
The concerts continue on the second Friday of each month through September, and guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs. Food will be served by local vendors, and there will be craft beer by Milewide Beer Co. as well as a full bar.
You’ll even have an opportunity to purchase Foxhollow’s grass-fed beef at each event, as well.
The Sunset Concert Series runs from 6-9 p.m., and admission is $12 for adults in advance or $16 at the door. Children ages 3-12 are $5. There also are passes for the entire series available for $55.
Foxhollow is located at 8905 Kentucky 329 in Crestwood, just about 15 miles north of Louisville.
