Local “celebrities” will get together Thursday, Sept. 4, to raise money and awareness for Health Support Network.

bridesThe Brides Against Breast Cancer event is called Headliners for Hope Networking Event, and will be held at Old 502 Winery. Health Support Network is the largest online resource center globally for anyone impacted by cancer (see video above).

Some of the “celebrities” who will be networking are guest bartender Lynn Quire of Good Garbage, Tracy Blue of the Voice-Tribune, and Alex Reymundo, a touring comedian who also apparently holds the title of “cool guy.”

Oh, and Kelly K from WDJX will be there. She’s kind of a celebrity, too.

Tickets are $35 online, or $45 at the door, and that gets you all the beer, wine and “heavy appetizers” you can hold. Celebrities or not, that’s a pretty good deal, and for a good cause to boot.
