Typically held the third Thursday of the month throughout the summer, Rye on Market’s Back Porch Sessions combine music, art, drinks and food in a festive outdoor venue they also call their parking lot. The free series was created as a performance venue for local artists and a cool place for the community to enjoy food, beverages and music.

The next one will be held Thursday, June 16, and will feature local bands Graffiti, The Foxery and Twenty First Century Fox. The party usually begins around 5 p.m. with snacks and drinks, and the music starts at 7.

With sponsors like Larceny bourbon, Lunazul tequila, Rhinegeist beer, Tito’s vodka, WFPK, Do502 and Magbooth, you can bet the Back Porch Sessions are one helluva party — and you’ll have photo booth pictures to prove it.

Below is the rest of this summer’s schedule.

Thursday, July 21: Brenda, Discount Guns, Legs Akimbo

Thursday, Aug. 18: Quiet Hollers, New Bravado

Saturday, Sept. 24 (NuLu Fest): Beacons, Kogan Dumb, Cousins Jr., TBA
