Wigs on Tap is a fun event that helps raise funds for a serious cause. Organized by Gilda’s Club Louisville, the event features music, drinks, food and funky wigs, and it benefits the nonprofit’s mission of providing support for Louisvillians living with cancer.

Now in its ninth year, Wigs on Tap will take place on Thursday, Oct. 6, at Copper & Kings American Brandy in Butchertown from 6-11 p.m.

Along with music by the award-winning cover band Tony and the Tan Lines, there will be cocktails and beer from Copper & Kings and Goodwood Brewing, appetizers by Brownie’s The Shed and Boo Boo Smoke Shack, a silent auction and prizes for the Best Wig Contest.

If you couldn’t already guess, attendees are encouraged to don their favorite wig.

Admission is $40 in advance or $50 at the door, and that includes two drink tickets.
