On Wednesday, from 5–7 p.m., Greater Louisville Inc. is holding its 20th anniversary celebration at Louisville Slugger Field, 401 East Main St. The family-friendly event presented by UPS is open to the public and precedes the Louisville City Football Club match against Rochester Rhinos.

The board of The Samuel Plato Academy of Historic Preservation Trades is holding a community meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday to update residents on the program, which aims to teach students skills needed to rehabilitate homes such as woodworking.

The Rotary Club of Louisville’s guest on Thursday at noon at The Frazier History Museum, 829 W Main St., will be Madison Cork, chief executive of Cork Communications, talking about FearLESS public speaking.

Yelp is starting an event called Co-Work It, in which the company sets up a temporary co-working space stocked with free snacks and has events such as a free morning workout with BAREfit Adventure Training and an afternoon cocktail hour. The inaugural Co-Work It is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at 1229 S. Shelby St. RSVPs are required.
