Here’s a resolution you can keep — begin 2019 by attending the city’s most raucous and exciting New Year’s Eve Bash at Fourth Street Live!
It’s the next best thing to being in New York’s Times Square, featuring all the best New Year’s traditions. That means the downtown entertainment complex will be alive with confetti shot from cannons and noise from revelers packing the venue.
There’s the city’s only ball drop at midnight, plus champagne toasts at all the street’s restaurants and bars.
And it will all take place with the city’s favorite party band — 100% Poly — on stage in the center of the street. The southern Indiana dance band, a favorite at Fourth Street, plays tunes from the ‘70s through today.
The party is free to attend, but many attendees choose attractive VIP packages. Those guarantee beverages from 9:00 p.m. to Midnight, and access to buffet meals at Tavern on Fourth and The Sports and Social Club. VIP ticket buyers also have access to PBR Louisville and Pizza Bar. Of course, there’s a champagne toast at Midnight and party favors included.
A single VIP ticket is $75, and a couples’ package is $130. Buy tickets here!
Guests can easily find convenient parking, and many restaurants both in Fourth Street Live! and in walking distance are taking reservations for the evening. Consider starting your evening with dinner at one of Fourth Street Live’s awesome restaurants, including Bourbon Raw, Brazeiros Churrascaria Brazilian Steakhouse, Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, Guy Fieri’s Smokehouse, Hard Rock Cafe, Pizza Bar Louisville, T.G.I. Friday’s, Tavern on Fourth, The Sports and Social Club and Whiskey Dry by Ed Lee.
The party in Louisville is part of a network of New Year’s bashes across the country called NYE Live! Simultaneous parties under the NYE-Live! banner will take place in Baltimore, Kansas City, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Arlington, Texas as well as Hampton and Norfolk in Virginia. So be a part of the party when the clock strikes 2019, and enjoy that midnight kiss with your sweetie in the middle of the city’s biggest party, champagne in hand, surrounded by noisemakers and confetti. It’s one last chance to say goodbye to 2018 and welcome in the New Year.
