Thousands of live music fans have come to Mercury Ballroom since it opened in the spring of 2014. This month alone, The Mercury will be hosting a wide array of performers, like Buckethead, Papa Roach and Pink Droyd, presenting the Pink Floyd experience.

And it’s not just the music that makes The Mercury an experience like no other. Premium ticket holders enjoy the best of both worlds on the second floor: an evening of live music that’s both intense and intimate, without sacrificing comfort or service.

What does that mean?

The Mercury Ballroom Premium Experience goes like this:

While others are circling Fourth Street looking for parking spots within walking distance, you will slide into the Clay Commons parking garage on Chestnut Street, right behind the Mercury and adjacent to the neighboring Hilton Garden Inn.

Doors open an hour before the show. If you see a line snaking its way out onto the Fourth Street sidewalk, don’t despair. With the Mercury Ballroom Premium Experience, you can bypass the line and make your way to the VIP entrance, a few steps up that sidewalk on the same side of the building.

Once inside, head upstairs to the balcony. There, you’ll be surrounded by images of great music icons like David Bowie, Elton John, Amy Winehouse and Freddie Mercury.

Enjoy a cocktail in the VIP bar. Beneath a portrait of Louisville native and rebel journalist Hunter S. Thompson, the VIP bartender will make you whatever you like using top-shelf liquors, if you prefer.

After that, you can take your drinks to your reserved seats located in the heart of the balcony. You and your party will have a clear view of the stage and and experience the great acoustics. While the venue holds up to 900, the 70 Premium Seats are the best and only seats in the house. You’ll be close enough that you shouldn’t be surprised if the lead singer gives you a smile and thumbs-up for rocking out.

Of course, if you want to take a breather during a ballad, you’ve got the cushioned comfort and unblocked view to do just that. A VIP server will refresh your drink at your seats so you don’t miss a moment of the show.

Mercury hosts between 100-120 shows per year with plenty of diversity to appease your musical taste. Premium Ticket Packages include:
