Attendees said, “It’s fun, informative, great networking and some of the best speaker programming I’ve seen at an event anywhere in some time.”

But can a one-day conference boost performance?

Every year, the Leadership Louisville Center curates a day of learning at their Leadership Summit to help individuals continuously develop the behaviors and strategies they need to be successful. Hundreds attend to invest in the learning journey of themselves and their teams, leaving with new thinking they can apply immediately in the workplace.

The Center prides itself on selecting only the best speakers and relevant content – the reputation and raving reviews from this event speak for themselves. They don’t leave the curriculum to chance, and additional learning often comes from the peers in attendance.

Dr. Ken Blachard

Last year’s attendees said, “This was a high-caliber, informative, interesting and thought-provoking program! My first Summit and I will attend more in the future.” And, “It was one of the most inspiring learning experiences ever. I enjoyed absolutely everything!”

This year, the Best of Leadership Summit on March 6th will bring two incredible keynote speakers to Louisville, and offer multiple interactive breakout sessions with additional speakers for an energizing day of learning at The Kentucky Center. It’s the Best of Leadership Summit in honor of the Center’s 40th anniversary and will include a celebratory cocktail reception.

The day will begin with Dr. Ken Blanchard, best-selling author and developer of the most widely-taught leadership model in the world – Situational Leadership. He’ll bring his decades of experience to share the most effective way to get great organizational results and create satisfaction and happiness with your team and customers along the way.

Kristen Hadeed

The closing keynote speaker will be Kristen Hadeed, CEO, author and member of Simon Sinek’s team of “Optimists” – a group of entrepreneurs who embrace Sinek’s philosophy of “starting with why.” She is a millennial leader who has learned how to create a work environment that brings out the best in people of all ages.

Interactive breakout sessions throughout the day are designed to transform how you live and lead, with tracks on leading self, leading others and leading community. You’ll also connect with top regional leaders and expand your professional network.

Who attends?

Hundreds attend from Louisville and the surrounding region. Attendees range from high-potential emerging leaders to C-suite executives, with nearly 70% working at a director level or above.

Companies large and small send teams because they know that today’s fast-paced, ever-changing, global economy requires continuous learning. Successful businesses are in attendance, including: PNC Bank; Humana; EY; Texas Roadhouse; GE Appliances, a Haier Company; Extell Financial Services; Farm Credit Mid-America; MCM CPAs & Advisors; BrightSpring Health Services; Passport Health Plan; HJI Supply Chain Solutions; Northwestern Mutual; and YUM! Brands.

They all come away with tools to build organizations that are more innovative, more profitable and command greater loyalty from customers and employees. An attendee said, “Sessions were very well presented and presenters clearly thought about the audience they were speaking to, the messages they wanted to get across, and the importance of their topics. I took away many ideas that I can apply to my business.”
