Dr. Jordan B. Peterson

Are you ready to do some serious introspection while boosting your self-awareness this summer? Then spend a few hours with Dr. Jordan B. Peterson at The Louisville Palace Thursday, June 14.

Author of such self-help titles as Maps of Meaning: the Architecture of Belief and the recently published bestseller 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos, Dr. Peterson uses his knowledge of the psychology of religion and ideological belief to help people better understand their own personalities in order to improve their lives. The University of Toronto professor and Levinson Teaching Prize nominee is also a world-renowned YouTube personality, whose videos average 1 million views per video, and whose channel boasts over 800,000 subscribers.

Dr. Peterson is spending the next few months traveling to 50 cities in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom to talk about his bestseller, 12 Rules for Life, along with issues related to his research.

Published in January of 2018, 12 Rules distills the wisdom gained from Dr. Peterson’s research “into 12 practical and profound rules for life,” including why you should leave skaters be, why arrogance and vengeance lead to suffering, and “why you should always pet a cat when you meet one on the street.” Dr. Peterson’s latest “shatters the modern commonplaces of science, faith, and human nature while transforming and ennobling the mind and spirit of its readers” as an antidote to the chaos within and outside each reader.
